The Pigeonnier retreat is set adjacent to a historic dovecote — a building type that, until the French Revolution, was reserved exclusively for the aristocracy and used for breeding pigeons. This rare structure forms the centerpiece of the retreat’s outdoor experience. A cold outdoor shower is located within the white-chalk interior of the dovecote itself, intended for use after the sauna.
